What is our website all about? Word games of all varieties! And if that isn't enough, we have many extras too. Our fully moderated website aims to be fun, where anything goes, not just all on word games / topics but off-topic (general section) too where you can create new threads on anything and everything AND, much, much more! Read on for more information...



As well as the many different forums, we also feature "Screwball Specials" (these are listed below) that are available to members once ten or more genuine posts are made. Why ten posts? Simple. To prove that you are willing to become an active member of Screwball and contribute to the forums that interest you - a small price to pay for all the benefits on offer to members!


Arcade Games Room

The Arcade Room has over 180 games spread across many categories. Here there is fierce competition to retain the number one spot of any one game. Alternatively you can just play for fun and unwind! There is also a forum section giving information on new games added, the Arcade gossip lounge, games hints and tips and more.


Screwball Hangman

Based on the traditional Hangman except it can be played for fun or points! The twist is, any Member that fails to correctly guess a Hangman has to wait an hour before able to play the same one again. Also, correctly guessed letters remain in place for others to see. Members can also create Hangmans too! Points are won for correct letters, won Hangmans but you lose points for getting a Hangman wrong...


SS Worldox

Screwball Scribble is the official English portal, forums and support for this exciting addictive online multi-player word game developed by French genius, Jourbon. It's Scrabble with a completely different twist with the idea is to steal points from the other player(s) by changing colour of oppositions letters (or even whole words!) to yours. Ultimate Quiz Game - *** COMING SOON!!! ***

Play and / or Create Quizzes! Three different types to choose from: Multiple Choice (2 or more alternate answers), True / False or, Input Answer or all mixed. It features a live countdown quiz timer. Run out of time and you will not see the answers or your results! Also included are statistics for every quiz so members can see and compare scores!


Daily Trivia Quiz

Test your knowledge against other Screwball members, with different questions each day! All results are contained within the Daily Trivia website.


Live Chat Room - *** Returning in 2010!!! ***

We have live Quiz nights featuring different themes once a month, and sometimes a Family Fortunes Quiz too! Or you could just pop in for a chat with fellow Members. The Live Chat Room also has it's own forum so members can keep track of upcoming quizzes and more.


All specials also have there own dedicated forums!


Anything else?

Yep, there's more! The huge Interactive Game Zone forum (unlocked to registered members) features daily games, online multi-player games and off the wall games, of which most are played within posts! Word Crunch, Daily Crossword, Daily Jigsaw, Scrabble Sprint, tetris, Majjongg, to name just a few. Members post their best score of the day - think you can do better?

Registered Members also get birthday greetings on the Portal / Index page, and you don't have to give the year you were born either, if you want to keep your age a closely guarded secret!.

There are also the Screwball Archives where you can look back at Posts that are six months old or more. No Posts or Topics get deleted here. If something interests you in this section, as a registered member, you can post there and the relevant Topic will be moved back to it's original location.

Once registered with us, you'll automatically receive a welcome PM from the Screwball Team containing all sorts of useful information and links to make your experience with our site enjoyable.

The site is completely free to join with no annoying adverts! With so many different forums and topics, there's plenty to appeal to everyone. If you cannot see a specific topic, go right ahead and create one!
